This winter, the Beer Garden at The Market Hotel Ballarat transform into a wonderful winter garden with toasty warm igloos, offering an unforgettable seasonal experience for groups of all ages. Gather friends, family, or colleagues and step inside one of five beautifully styled igloos - each a cosy retreat from the cold.

These private igloos comfortably seat eight guests and are fully enclosed, toasty warm, and designed for comfort. Whether it's a casual get-together or a special celebration, it's the perfect setting to savour the season.

Guests pre-book indulgent grazing feast, filled with delicious winter favourites, and sip on warming mulled wine as the cold settles in outside. During the school holidays, special sharing platters for kids will also be available, perfect for a family outing with a touch of seasonal charm.

For a twist on the traditional, one igloo is set up for a relaxed game of poker, ideal for those looking to mix a little fun into their winter catch-up.

Make your Sunday something special. Gather your favourite people and settle into your private igloo for a leisurely afternoon of sweet and savoury bites, freshly brewed teas, and a glass of something sparkling if the mood takes you. Warm, unhurried, and utterly charming — this is the Sunday reset you deserve.

$65 per adult, $40 per child. Includes high tea and glass of prosecco or Gin cocktail. Six to eight people. Bookings essential.

The Bookclub Bubble - Winter Igloo

Monday & Tuesday evenings until September 6th.

Great books deserve a great setting.

Reserve your igloo for your next book club gathering and enjoy a dedicated, cosy space to debate, discuss, and digress - all from the comfort of your own private bubble. Available Monday and Tuesday evenings, with food and drink to keep the conversation flowing.

We also think the Igloos make a great games venue so BYO game of choice.

$96 for a Cheese & Charcuterie platter (serves eight). Drinks at bar prices.

What's Included?

Start your feast with a selection of mixed entrees, featuring our new signature Baked Brie topped with candied walnuts and grapes, golden mushroom arancini, crispy mac & cheese balls, and slices of house-made pizza.

Then dive into a generous sharing platter of slow-cooked chilli pork ribs, tender porterhouse steak, and lightly fried calamari, served with corn ribs, onion rings, creamy coleslaw and seasoned chips.

Also included is a choice of a glass of bubbles, beer, soft drink or wine. One drink per person.
